The black VOX Soundbox Mini is a multifunctional stereo amplifier with inputs for instruments, a microphone and a music player. It's so compact and lightweight that you can easily use it as a mobile system! The amplifier portion offers three inputs for a guitar, bass and keyboard, for instance. The Soundbox Mini has 11 amp sounds built in, from clean and hard-rock to bass and acoustic amps, to amps with a flat response for keyboards. Furthermore, it also has eight high-quality effects, among which, consisting of a are a compressor, chorus, flanger, tremolo, and four types of delay and reverb.
VOX Soundbox Mini: sound and functions
This portable retro-style amplifier has two four-inch speakers and 2x2.5 watts of power. Considering its small size, it delivers a surprisingly spacious sound, thanks to Korg Acoustage technology. You can also connect your CD/MP3 player or iPod to the AUX input and jam along with your favourite bands. Furthermore, via the Center Cancel function, you can filter out solos and backing tracks, which is great for karaoke parties and for playing along with your favourites. With the VOX Soundbox Mini you can use amplify an instrument, microphone and audio player simultaneously.
Practical and portable
You'll find a screw thread on the bottom of the amp for mounting an optional microphone stand, making it possible to get the right listening height in any situation. There is also a headphone output that mutes the internal speakers for those quite or late-night practice sessions. Finally, the VOX Soundbox Mini features a robust aluminium chassis and handle, and it comes with a 12V adapter, though it can be powered by six AA batteries for maximum mobility.
