Here, TOP stands for True Outdoor Protection, meaning that the Neutrik NAC3MPX-WOT-TOP PowerCON True1 socket is both water and UV resistant, so it's safe for use outdoors. And, since this is a True 1 connection, cables can be plugged in and unplugged in under voltage. Unlike other TOP socket chassis, the rear of this model is non-isolated and non-shielded.
