General
Blue has released their very stylish USB microphone preamp, the Icicle. You can connect a microphone to the XLR input of the Icicle, the USB on your computer, and start recording. The Icicle is ideal for use on location and for laptop producers. The Icicle provides high-quality AD/DA conversion. Furthermore it provides 48 V phantom power and a fully balanced input and analogue gain control.
The Icicle is compatible with each brand and type of microphone. Works on a MAC as well as on a PC.

Echt heel handig apparaatje. Zoals al meer geschreven: plug-and-play.
Ik heb ook meerkanaals audio interfaces, maar dit is klein, handzaam en handig. Voor de prijs hoef je het ook niet te laten.

De Blue Icicle vind ik echt een top dingetje !
Werkt gewoon perfect en alles wat je nodig hebt is bijvoorbeeld een laptopje met een programma, een microfoon en de Blue Icicle.
Ik heb hem gebruikt om buiten een akoestische opname te maken.

Heel gemakkelijk dingetje eigenlijk, de Blue Icicle! Samen besteld met een Blue Spark microfoon, het is letterlijk plug & play. Schrok wel van de test toen ik mijn microfoon uit probeerde dat het enorm zacht was, maar toen kwam ik er erachter dat er een draai knopje op de Icicle zat waardoor ik veel harder klonk.
De Blue Icicle weegt echt niet veel en is best wel groot, Had een beetje gevoel dat er niks in zat, maar hij doet z'n ding dus dat is toppie.
