General
The Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CM-2 in-line preamp can be set up to boost the signal of a pair of dynamic or passive ribbon microphones with +25dBs of gain before sending it through a mixer or interface for consistent, lossless performance. By pushing the gain before the signal even reaches the mixer, the mixer input gain can be pulled back to a more comfortable level. This smart and simple booster is purely designed for passive microphones, so you're assured that no damage will be caused by unnecessary phantom power.
Tips or comments about this product
- Please note: Since the Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER is not equipped with phantom power, it is not compatible with condenser microphones or other active models that require phantom power for operation.
