General
The Denon MC6000 MK2 is the successor of the famous MC6000. This professional DJ controller and digital mixer has been designed for use in clubs and for mobile DJ applications. In addition to its ingenious controller section, the MC6000 MK2 serves as a full-fledged mixer that can function as a stand-alone device thanks to the presence of a 24-bit audio interface. Denon's flagship has been built on a steel chassis, which enables it to endure the rough life of a DJ on the road. The MIDI controller/mixer has four channels and allows you to connect up to eight audio sources. As opposed to its predecessor, the MC6000 MK2 is supplied with a copy of Serato DJ Intro, and the controller is also compatible with most other common DJ software.
Dual-deck functionality
The MC6000 MK2 features a wide range of controls which enable you to operate two decks simultaneously and to mix four tracks. The control panel offers you everything you need for a pleasant DJ experience: transport buttons, pitch faders, three-way tone controls, loop, hot cue and sample controls, navigation buttons and effect controls. This MK2 version of the MC6000 has a well-organised layout that allows for easy, intuitive control. The special bond with Serato DJ is evident from controls such as Panel, View, Area and List and performance functions like Roll, Sensor and Slip. The MC6000 MK2 is also equipped with standard MIDI mappings for Traktor, Virtual DJ and Mixvibes Cross, however, proving its flexibility as a controller.
Additional features
The Denon MC6000 offers a range of connectors, allowing for a wide variety of audio sources. Denon's Matrix Mixer system enables you to select a source per channel, which means you can stay in control of your own work flow. Two effect sections are at your disposal, which allow you to choose to which of the four channels (or to all four) an effect must be applied. This also enables you to combine two effects. The controller/mixer features two balanced microphone inputs with separate effects and tone controls, as well as two touch-sensitive jog wheels that enable you to use the high-quality scratch effects that Serato is known for.

ik ben er zeer tevreden over en ja er zullen altijd min punten zijn maar die wegen niet op tegen de plussen vind ik.

Na 8 jaar met Traktor te hebben gedraaid was ik een beetje huiverig... maar niet terecht! Alles werkt perfect, zo uit de doos! Geen gedoe met midi mappings en asio, gewoon aansluiten en draaien!
Gisteren heb ik de eerste set gedraaid met de controller. Ging allemaal prima, zonder problemen. Ik ben zeer tevreden over mijn aankoop en de volledige versie van Serato gaat er ook komen!
Pluspunten:
Geen gedoe met aansluiten en inrichten. Werkt direct uit de doos en de software is eenvoudig te bedienen. Ook de wat minder makkelijke bewerkingen zijn echt eenvoudig te doen.
Mooi stabiel apparaat, volledig metalen behuizing. Solide rubber knoppen, Faders en crossfader zijn zoals ik gewend ben van Denon. Uitstekende geluidskwaliteit.
Minpunten:
De controller is wat aan de kleine kant. Je moet oppassen met dikke vingers. Als je bijvoorbeeld in plaats van de filtertoets "load A" drukt (die er vlak onder zit) dan is het in 1 keer erg stil in de zaal :)
De platters zijn ook wat aan de kleine kant dus echt scratchen wordt lastig. De pitch sliders zijn een stuk korter dan ik gewend was.

ik had al een tijdje zin om deze controller te kopen, en nu blijkt dat al die tijd , verloren tijd is.
Dit is een topprodukt.
Ook de service van BAX, was zeer snel een correct.
Alleen jammer dat van deze controller geen rackmount te verkrijgen is zodat ik hem in mijn flightcase kan bouwen. Maar daar vinden we wel iets op.
Een zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer tevreden klant, alweer.

Voor de rest een DEGELIJKE sterke controller , geen plastiek , zoal bij vele andere . Goede afwerking en componenten ... DENON kwaliteit !

Ook in combinatie met mijn draaitafels werkt hij prima.
Een mooie compacte controller! Ik kan die compactheid wel waarderen. Zeker in deze degelijke uitvoering. Het is een zeer solide gebouwd apparaat met veel mogelijkheden. Een prima geluidskaart en nog mooier, je plugt 'm zo in een professionele PA installatie.
