Only available in the Stratocaster's anniversary year: the Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster. An instant collector’s item, but also an exceptionally well-sounding and looking solid body. Modelled after the vintage models of the fifties, this Strat offers an extraordinarily authentic playing experience. Beautiful details include gilt hardware, including screws and strap locks, and mother-of-pearl peg heads. The glistening 2-colour Sunburst finish looks exceptionally well on this guitar, leaving some of the glory for the wood of the body as it shines through.

Commemorative Stratocaster: construction

Just like back in the days, this Strat is made of ash, a durable wood type that provides a powerful sound with a good sustain. The neck and fretboard are made of maple and feature 22 medium jumbo frets and black position markers. The neck has a Micro-Tilt system, making it exceptionally easy to adjust. What is more, the refined Bi-Flex truss rods allow additional adjustment.

Pickup and accessories

No standard single coils for this anniversary Strat, it is equipped with three well-balanced Special Design 1954 Strat single-coil pickups to provide a genuine vintage Stratocaster sound. It goes without saying that a memorable model like this Commemorative Stratocaster doesn't come unaccompanied. You will receive this instrument in a luxury vintage-style tweed case along with a cable, guitar strap, strap locks and polishing cloth. Additionally, a special commemorative book is included in honour of the Stratocaster model.
