The Lake Placid Blue colour scheme of the Fender American '64 Telecaster has been swapped for the (also vintage-correct) Candy Apple Red. Have you always wanted a genuine vintage Tele from the sixties but were you never able to afford one? This American Vintage version might be a new Fender, it still looks, sounds and plays like an original 1964 Tele. What's more, it doesn't cost nearly half as much. This guitar is an exact replica of the original in every conceivable way. For instance, it is equipped with replicas of the renowned Grey Bottom pickups and features a thin layer of genuine nitrocellulose lacquer.

Features of the American Vintage '64 Telecaster CAR

In 1964, Fender replaced the thick maple neck of the Telecaster with a slender C-profile version. Additionally, the fretboard was finished with a rosewood veneer and extra-large mother-of-pearl position markers. The body was made of alder, instead of ash, making this guitar richer on mids. This red Fender American Vintage '64 Telecaster features all of the essential details, including staggered magnets in the bridge pickup, a Top Hat switch tip, a 3-layer white pickguard with 8-hole mounting and three threaded steel bridge saddles so you can adjust the space between the strings.
