The Fender FM-101 is an affordable A5-style mandolin by the renowned Fender company. Its eight strings produce the sparkling sound you'd expect from this traditional yet loved instrument. Every pair of strings is tuned alike. The clear, balanced resonance of the laminated spruce top helps to create its wonderful sound.
The Fender FM-101 A5-style Mandolin
The A in A5 indicates the classic pear shape of the body and the 5 that the Fender FM-101 has elegant f-shape holes. The top of this entry-level mandolin has a high-gloss sunburst finish and a black pickguard. The FM-101 also has a chrome tailpiece, white position markers and beautiful bindings along its body and neck.
