Door de neiuwe frequenties op zoek geweest naar een alternatief voor 5 niet bruikbare oude sets. Eerst andere types gebruikt maar dat werkte niet naar tevredenheid. Met de 60 dagen geld terug actie was dat geen probleem en omgeruild voor deze Fender. Had wel vertrouwen in een samenwerking tussen Fender en AKG en dat bleek ook zo. Wat een geweldige set. Plug en Play, lange batterij duur en een lekker gebruiksgemak. TOP set. Direct nog drie sets besteld en gebnruik ze nu alle vier gelijk voor een musicalgroep. Samen met nog wat oude Concert88 gaat dat perfect. Heb ze al gebruikt om een (audio) signaal door te sturen van een beamer en dat was ook geen probleem. En een heerlijk geluid met de aangesloten bij bestelde DAP draadmicrofoons. Musicalgroep blij, ik blij. Top geregeld BAX. Dankjewel.

Gewoon een goedwerkende gitaarzender, die duidelijk uit de AKG-stal komt. Werkt op één AA-batterij en is m.i. volledig "plug and play"! Op zich had een gecombineerde plug/zender mijn voorkeur, maar deze losse beltpackzender volstaat en de kabel lijkt vrij degelijk, hoewel ik zeker nog een back up ga bestellen of zelf maken. Voldoende ruimte op de A-frequentieband, die ook de komende jaren wel beschikbaar zal blijven en daarom interessanter is dan bijv. het 863-865 gebied, waar heel veel andere zenders werken en de kans op dubbelingen steeds groter wordt. Geen merkbaar verlies in signaal, wel een lichte compressie, maar dat vind ik ok, aangezien ik hem alleen benut op een "acoustische" gitaar en vooral veel accoordenwerk gebruik! Lees: het betere "kampvuurwerk"! :)
Verbazend (en jammer) is dat de "squelch-regelaar" achter op de ontvanger zit. Erg lastig om die in te stellen als de zender is ingebouwd in een rack of een case. Ook jammer is dat er geen 19" montagemateriaal wordt meegeleverd, dat zou voor een kleine meerprijs toch mogelijk moeten zijn. Nu zit je vast aan universele houders etc. of aan voldoende improvistievermogen. Ik had gelukkig nog wel wat liggen!
Hoe dan ook, prijs/kwalitatief gewoon erg interessant en ik vind het grappig om weer eens wat van Fender in mijn rack te hebben. Ik kreeg er direct vragen over! :)
