General
Fender's Vintage Hot Rod series comprises some spicy guitars and bass guitars that combine the best of the past with today's most powerful features. Take this Vintage Hot Rod '60s Precision Bass Natural, for instance. It has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, just like in the past that leaves a starring role for the ash body. This Precision Bass offers two entirely different worlds of sounds, thanks to the presence of both a Jazz Bass single-coil and a Precision Bass split single-coil. It's an American Fender bass guitar of the highest quality that is ready for any musical challenge.
Fender Vintage Hot Rod '60s P-Bass
Good wood is essential to the sound of a bass guitar. Ash produces a punchy sound with a rich tone. The maple neck is bolted onto the body with four screws and features a rosewood fretboard with 20 frets and clay-coloured position markers. This bass is a delight to play, thanks to its compound fretboard radius that allows for comfortable extended loops and reaching of higher positions. The machine heads are Fender F-type with lightweight peg heads.
