Olympic White is the name of the milky white nitrocellulose finish on the alder body of this guitar. The Fender Vintage Hot Rod '60s Telecaster is a fair chunk of American guitar enthusiasm, made to offer an excellent instrument to both the new generation of musicians as well as hard-core Fender fans. To do so, this model features a vintage base ('60s) with Hot Rod mods. The result is an exceptionally handsome Telecaster with a hugely impressive sound.
Vintage Hot Rod '60s Tele: pickups
This Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster is equipped with three pickups (SSS), all of them premium models. In the bridge position we find a Custom Shop Broadcaster (bright, hot output), in the middle there's a Texas Special single-coil (fair amount of output with twang) and in the neck position there's a Custom Shop Twisted Tele single-coil (sturdy, meaty Strat sound). The 5-way pickup switch and the S-1 in the volume knob allow for numerous switching possibilities of these pickups, creating the right tonal vibe every time.
Materials
This fresh white Tele was made of highly durable materials. The alder for the body has been through the Fender USA selection process and the maple neck has a carefully crafted D profile. The rosewood fretboard contains 21 narrow jumbo frets and there's a bone string nut at the headstock. Its stable Gotoh locking machine heads allow for smooth and accurate tuning. It would be a small sin to deliver an instrument that is as characterful as this '60s Tele without any befitting accessories. This is why a luxury case, a cable and a guitar strap are included.
