About Framus

The Framus company was founded in 1946 by Fred Wilfer. Their hand-built, high-quality guitars found their way to guitarists the likes of Bill Wyman and John Lennon. However, as Framus were forced to stop production in 1975, these guitars were at risk never to be seen again. Twenty years later, under the Warwick flag, Hans Peter Wilfer - the son of Fred - rekindled the Framus fire. Framus guitars are still of immensely high quality, offering you an instrument that you will be able to enjoy for years to come.
