The G6137TCB Panther Center-Block LTD Flagstaff Sunset - a Limited Edition addition to Gretsch's Professional Collection - is a semi-acoustic guitar with a double cutaway and a gorgeous Flagstaff Sunset finish. This unique instrument is equipped with the renowned High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups, elegant f-shaped sound holes and a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece.

G6137TCB Panther Center-Block LTD Flagstaff Sunset: the centre block

The G6137TCB Panther features a centre block that runs along the entire length of its body. Not only does this spruce centre block allow you to play the guitar at high gain, but it also reduces body-resonant feedback. As the centre block is chambered at the lower bout, the overall weight of the guitar is quite moderate. The pinned bridge base of the guitar extends over the sides of the centre block, transferring string vibrations to the f-shaped sound holes of the guitar, resulting in a full-bodied sound.

The familiar Gretsch sound

Thanks to two legendary Filter'Tron pickups in neck and bridge position and a three-way pickup switch, the G6137TCB Panther produces that characteristic, great sound Gretsch is known for. The jack output on the maple top of the guitar enables you to plug the Panther into your amplifier, and a master volume knob, a master tone knob and two volume knobs (one for each pickup) allow you to adjust the sound to your liking. The Gretsch G6137TCB Panther Center-Block LTD Flagstaff Sunset comes with a rugged, deluxe guitar case.
