The new kids in town
Monark, a virtual synthesizer that is obviously based on the legendary Mini Moog, provides you with deep bass tones, warm sounds and screeching leads. Native Instruments have spent years of research on their product and are justifiably proud of it. Battery 4 is new and offers impressive, up to date drum sounds. Thanks to the tagging system you can easily find the sound you are looking for and the side chaining options really augment your music productions. Session Strings is an excellent string section library: great if you are an avid 'in the box' orchestrator.

Komplete 9 offers samples and synthesizers: instruments and pure synthesis. If you are purely looking for a collection of great samples, Komplete 9 provides you with a wide range that will keep you busy for a considerable time. The synthesizers are elaborate and meant for adventurous sound designers who want to create their own sounds. They are also equipped with a large number of presets, so less experienced sound designers can also work with them. The diversity of Komplete 9 makes this package ideally suited for use in pop music, TV, gaming and film music.
