The dimensions of the DJM 2000 mixer already suggested that it might be suitable for installation in a 19-inch flightcase. That's why Pioneer have developed these rack ears, which can be easily attached to the mixer. Subsequently, you can install the DJM 2000 in a 19-inch flightcase, turning it into a compact system for drive-in show DJs who predominantly work with MIDI and a computer, but who also like to make creative transitions.

Wrote the following about Pioneer DJ DJM 2000 19-inch rackmount adapter

Om te beginnen paste maar 1 vd 2 panelen. Aan het andere paneel heb ik nog een tijdje werk aan gehad om deze pas te maken. De gaten kwamen niet overeen met de bevestigingspunten in de mixer. Verder vind ik het een knullige bevestiging. Er worden grote parkers (schroeven) bijgeleverd die je met veel kracht moeilijk gemonteerd krijgt. Een manier die ik niet gewend ben van Pioneer en ook niet vind passen bij zo'n duur product. Er is geen andere oplossing als je deze wilt monteren in een rack, maar anders had ik die zeker gekozen.
