These Dr. Suzuki-type slipmats have been developed specifically for mix DJs, and as such they're thicker and more shock-resistant than their scratch counterparts. When you're controlling your vinyl, they minimise noise, and they're slightly shorter than 12 inches, so they won't stick when you're changing records. Of course you can still use these Dr. Suzuki slipmats for some modest scratching, and they're also suitable for digital control vinyl. The amazing graphics are courtesy of the Japanese painter and performance artist Kohei Yamao, also known as Baki Baki. Pioneer's Baki Baki slipmats come in an attractive sleeve with a matching design. They were made in Japan and are an official Pioneer DJ product.
