General
The slim Roland F-120R is a slightly more elaborate version of the F-120 digital piano. The natural sound of Roland's SuperNATURAL system, the pleasant feel of the Ivory Feel-G keyboard and the realistic response of the Progressive Hammer Action with Escapement are all present. In addition, the F-120R offers sixty backing rhythms that follow your playing, and a USB connector which enables you to load new rhythms, songs and even WAV files. This ivory-coloured, polished model is a stylish addition to any room, and a beautiful, rewarding instrument for beginners!
The grand piano feel of the F-120R
In order to provide the F120R with a real grand piano feel, Roland has equipped it with the renowned SuperNATURAL sound source. A a result, the piano sound of the F-120R resembles that of the best concert grands: each key has a different character and the timbre of the sound subtly changes with the power of your playing and with the fading of the notes. The Progressive Hammer Action causes the resistance of the keys to increase at powerful strokes, while the Escapement technology provides the keys with the typical 'click' of a grand piano. Even the pedals have a life-like response, which means there is an audible difference between a half-pressed and a fully pressed pedal.
Compact yet complete
The compact housing of the F-120R is only 30 cm deep and offers even more great functions. In combination with the three backing modes, the backing rhythms follow your playing to a tee. Choose, for instance, the Pianist mode, and the F120-R recognises your chords across the entire length of the keyboard. This is a great improvement compared to many other keyboards and pianos that only detect the chords on the lower half of the keyboard. With the F120R, there is no need to adjust your playing style to the backing rhythms! The digital piano offers various practice tools as well, including a metronome, a Twin Piano function (which divides the keyboard into two equal parts) and a simple recorder. It is also possible to connect the piano to a computer via MIDI.
