Well made good piece of kit, but it requires a mic to be fully heard during play. The "click" from the kick is sharp and cuts nicely, it's more of a metalic sound of steel clacking than wood on wood. But it offers a different dynamic to the Cajon which I like.
The stick is quite delicate and 100% needs a microphone to fully appreciate it. But the tone is nice and again, offers a new sound other than a foot tambourine.
Easy to instal and seems well attached.
I'd give it 5* but the volume of the stick let's it down. I want to play unplugged and it doesn't cut through Guitars enough for the overall price.
