Toontrack's Ezdrummer is a multi microphone drum sampler, specifically designed for musicians and producers who want a user-friendly and clear drum sampler with a high sound quality.

This package contains over 7,000 drum samples, played by the best drummers in the best studio. The drum kits have been recorded with multiple microphones so they sound very realistic. You can control the microphones via the mixer in EZdrummer.

The extensive MIDI library contains over 8,000 MIDI files with excellent grooves and fills. You can drag these grooves directly to your DAW from the EZdrummer software.

Wrote the following about Toontrack EZdrummer drum software sampler plug-in

EZdrummer is mijn go-to tool voor het snel opzetten van nieuwe tracks. Met de drag-and-drop functionaliteit is het slechts een kwestie van seconden voordat je een drumtrack hebt die past bij je net opgenomen gitaarriff of die als basis kan dienen voor een nieuwe song. Door de grote library van beats met talloze variaties en fills laat je de drums echt en menselijk klinken. Ik gebruik dit programma dan ook voor het programmeren van drums in mijn DAW, maar koppel 'm ook graag aan mijn elektrische drumstel vanwege de bizar goed klinkende samples. Wanneer je op de samples en beats bent uitgekeken zijn er ook nog legio uitbreidingspakketten (EZX's) die in een groot aantal verschillende genre's verkrijgbaar zijn. Het enige nadeel aan EZ-drummer is wat mij betreft de beperkt het geringe aantal tom-beats, maar dit is in iedere midisequencer snel op te lossen door met de samples van EZdrummer zelf beats in elkaar te zetten.
