General

If you want to enjoy big-screen sports, movies and games in high quality, you'll want the HD141X projector by Optoma, a brand well known for its razor-sharp image projection. With a contrast of 23,000:1 and 3000 ANSI lumen, your images will be projected as clearly during the day as they would be in low lighting. It's also possible to connect the HD141X to your phone or tablet (via MHL) so you can view your photos and videos on the big screen.

Optoma HD141X: the projector of the future

This projector is capable of projecting 3D images. When you supply the HD141X with the correct 3D content, it will project those images in glorious Full HD. First-person shooter games are a different thing entirely with this projector. Thanks to the integration of the latest DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, this projector is able to deliver a good image under virtually any circumstances. When darker images are projected, the bulb brightness and contrast ratio are adjusted to avoid overexposure. The HD141X will always project a clear image.

Projector in use

The Optoma HD141X can be used as a so-called 'Smart Projector'. Use the MHL protocol to connect it to one of your mobile devices. This projector's light bulb has an extra long life span of 6,000 hours on average. BrilliantColor technology ensures that a wide variety of colours are projected as vividly as possible. You can even adjust the colours to your own personal taste.

Wrote the following about Optoma HD141X Full HD 1920 x 1080 projector

Prima beamer met niet al te veel toeters en bellen, maar wel een grote flexibiliteit.
De beamer geeft een uitstekende lichtopbrengst en beeldkwaliteit voldoet ruimschoots aan de verwachtingen. Ik projecteer deze op een doek, maar zelfs een witte muur kan al aan uw eisen voldoen.
Ik gebruik deze in combinatie met mijn Playstation 4, en zowel bij het streamen van Netflix als bij het gamen valt er niks om over te klagen. Het beeld is niet (merkelijk) vertraagd en stoort het gamen dus niet.
De ingebouwde speaker is niet de beste, maar zeker en vast genoeg om enkele geluidjes te laten horen bij een presentatie of dergelijke.
Al bij al een goede beamer voor het geld!

Wrote the following about Optoma HD141X Full HD 1920 x 1080 projector

Fijne (simpele) beamer, deze is ter vervanging van mijn BenQ MP623. Ik heb zelf een AV-versterker en heb aan 1 hdmi kanaal al genoeg op de beamer zitten er 2. Er bestaat ook een Optoma variant met meer verschillende ingangen en is +- 100 euro duurder.

Snel in te stellen, mijn enige minpunt is dat je via het grid niet de keystone kan instellen maar dat kan met heel veel beamers niet. Je hebt dus eerst een source nodig om de keystone te bepalen.

Leuke verlichte remote, gemaakt voor beide versies van de beamer hierop zijn twee knoppen voor mij overbodig met een vga source knop.

Goede resolutie en een makkelijke focus en zoom. Ze zijn beide van plastic en dat merk je wel in de feel, je hoeft in het algemeen maar 1 keer gebruik te maken van de focus dus dat is voor mij geen punt.

Deze beamer is een fantastisch alternatief voor grootbeeld televisies. Scherp HD beeld, ook overdag! Zelfs 3D (3D brillen niet incl.) mogelijk. Scherm is niet noodzakelijk. Projecteren op een witte muur voldoet prima. Voor audio maak ik gebruik van een soundbar die onder het beeld is geplaatst. Om bekabeling door de kamer te vermijden heb ik draadloze audio overdracht toegepast (Marmitek 625, Audio Anywhere, 59,= bij Conrad). Werkt prima zonder vertraging tussen beeld en geluid.
