General
The BenQ W1070+W offers you a variety of functional updates compared to its predecessor, the W1070. For starters, a WFHD kit has been included to enable wireless data transfer, which means that a mandatory cable connection is a thing of the past. This projector has also been equipped with an improved integrated 10-watt speaker with an extended bass range, making the W1070+W a complete solution for home entertainment, gaming or live streaming. Projecting gorgeous 3D imagery is easy.
BenQ W1070+W: professional image quality
A 1,920 x 1,080 resolution guarantees Full HD images; this, combined with a light output of 2,200 ANSI lumen, a colour intensity of 1.07 billion colours, and a maximum contrast ratio of 10,000:1, all adds up to professional image quality. The HDMI inputs are suitable for connecting gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, PCs and a number of other devices. The projection surface is 235 inches (diagonal). The 2D Keystone function provides a trapezoid correction, which - in combination with the Lens Shift - allows you to adjust for an ideal aspect ratio.
WHFD kit: connect quickly and easily
The WFHD kit - a welcome addition to the BenQ W1070 - consists of a transmitter, two HDMI inputs, an HDMI output and a receiver. Connect the kit to the projector via USB, to ensure a continual flow of power. Its 20-metre range and a latency time of under 1 ms makes it ideal for online gamers and movie lovers. Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) switches the WLAN channel automatically if it is already in use or not functioning properly.
Miracast compatible
Use the MHL connector to hook up tablets and smartphones to your computer using an MHL cable, allowing you to view your own content on the big screen. With the addition of a Miracast dongle, you can have Miracast-compatible devices stream content wirelessly.
