AT-LP5: old and new

This direct-drive player can spin 33 1/3 as well as 45 RPM, and the included 45RPM adapter allows you to play both singles and LPs with ease. An aluminium platter with a thick rubber mat and a rugged aluminium housing keep unwanted noise to a minimum. The heart of the AT-LP5 has to be the J-shaped tonearm. Stemming from a reinforced base with anti-skate knob, you can place this on your record with great precision. The specially-designed headshell will fit a number of cartridges, but it comes with the AT95EX.

Plug and play!

Let it be said, this record player is all about quality. For starters, a button next to the RCA outputs allows you to choose between a phono or line speaker. With phono, you have access to an internal preamplifier, while the other transfers the signal directly to the speakers. A little further down is the USB output. Simply install the included software, place your record on the platter, and you can start digitising your whole record collection.
