The ME-51S actually consists of two microphones - one for the recording of audio on the left, and the other for audio on the right. Thus you are provided with a stereo signal, which is why a 3.5mm stereo jack connector is provided. The ME51S plug-in microphone allows you to create high-quality stereo recordings. On an LCD display, you can monitor the recording levels for the right and left channel. Its frequency range of 100 Hz to 15 kHz, ensures a great reproduction of vocals and other sound sources. Thanks to the 3.5mm jack connector, the ME 51S isn't just suitable for the DS-2200, DM-20 and DM-19, it's also compatible with any digital recorder that records in stereo quality as long as it can deliver 1.5 to 10 volts of plug-in power.

De kwaliteit is heel prima voor een microfoon in dit prijssegment. Ik gebruik de microfoon aangesloten op een Zoom H1 handheld recorder in combinatie met mijn GoPro camera om betere spraakopnamen te krijgen.
Prima keuze van stereo microfoon als aanvulling op een videocamera of handheld recorder.
