Finished in timeless, thirties style, the Gretsch G9200 Boxcar Round-Neck resonator guitar is a like a sonic time machine. Taking all of its cues from the vintage originals, this guitar has been built using traditional parts to ensure authentic sound. The laminated mahogany body has been graced with a hand-lathed aluminium resonator cone, so you get rich warmth blended with that classic metallic edge, and the result is impressive: clear and crisp tone framed by strong mid-harmonic projection. It goes without saying that this resonator has been built for blues and bluegrass, whether playing in a standard tuning or playing open-tuned slide guitar.

Wrote the following about Gretsch G9200 Boxcar Round-Neck Resonator Guitar

Een mooi, rijk, vol geluid met opties om hoger op de hals te spelen voor het klassieke geluid en lager, op de ronde resonator voor het versterken en country&western/blue grass effect. Het biedt mij gigantische mogelijkheden om onversterkt een geweldige sound te produceren. Hij speelt strak en met capo prima. Ik ben er heel blij mee!
