Recording King sait faire des dobro et des résonateurs. Dans les années 30, la marque américaine travaillait avec Gibson. Le "design" reste américain même si la fabrication est aujourd'hui Chinoise. Excellent rapport qualité prix : on en a pour son argent. Le "spider cône" est magnifique, bien monté et la fabrication ne souffre d aucune critique pour le prix. L'action des cordes est bonne d 'origine et la lutherie acajou d un bon niveau. Le son est typé plutôt bluegrass, même si la guitare est aussi faite pour le Blues. Pas encore jouée en open G , ni en slide (bottleneck), elle est faite pour le jeu aux doigts avec (ou sans)onglet de pouce. Un son agréable, conforme à ce type d instrument, manquant peut être un peu de profondeur et d ampleur l 'empêche d 'avoir 5 étoiles. Je ne regrette nullement mon achat en tout cas !
