The RV-5 offers six of Boss's best reverbs in stereo. That means it's possible to use the effect following other effects with stereo outputs. A double input makes the RV-5 perfect for keyboard players too. In addition to the original reverbs, there's a spring reverb emulation and a high-quality gate reverb, as well as a Modulation mode that makes your reverb effect sound even more spacious.
Characteristics of the RV-5
The RV-5 Digital Reverb emulates the sound of the Accutronics spring reverb in such a realistic way that even the double spring oscillation is audible. To make your reverb even more scrumptious, the pedal's Modulation mode adds a nice dose of modulation. Finally, a gate reverb produces a unique result that condenses the reverb effect.
Operating the Digital Reverb
With the e.level knob, you're able to control the effect's master volume. The tone knob determines the tone of the reverb: the higher the tone, the clearer the sound, and the lower the tone, the warmer the effect. Meanwhile, the time knob adjusts the effect's length, and the mode knob enables you to select a reverb type and a foot pedal mode.
