TC Electronic's Hall of Fame 2 is the latest version of one of their most popular effects pedals. It has many of the same types of reverb as the original plus a Shimmer reverb, giving you 11 types in all, and there's even space left for three TonePrints. No matter what type of music you play, you can add top-quality reverb to your guitar or bass sound using the Hall of Fame 2. Well-known guitarists like Stephen Carpenter from the Deftones, Paul Gilbert from Mr.Big and Racer X and Devin Townsend are already fans of the latest creation from the legendary Danish stomp box company.
Hall of Fame 2 Reverb: out of this world
The Hall of Fame 2 features TC Electronic's groundbreaking Mash function that allows you to add extra expression to the effects by utilising the foot switch's touch-sensitivity. The new Shimmer reverb works by adding reverb an octave higher with every feedback loop for a sound that is simply out of this world! If you're familiar with effects pedals by TC Electronic, you're probably already aware of TonePrints, which is a concept that lets you add a number of effects of your choosing to pedals. You can do this by connecting the Hall of Fame 2 to a computer using a USB cable or even 'beam' new sounds directly to the pickup on your instrument!

I think there are some obviouse alternatives to this pedal and admit that Tone Print might have sealed the deal though no rush to exlore this as yet as tones supplied are very nice. Spring is an inprovment on my Mosky pedal (though I love that pedal) but this has more flexibility as well as more expansive tones such as Hall and Church. Plenty to keep me occupied here. Some apprehension buying from Bax but no issues and super quick postage so would consider again. Note currently unable to buy this pedal from UK retailers who all have it 'on order'.
