TC Electronic's Hall of Fame 2 is the latest version of one of their most popular effects pedals. It has many of the same types of reverb as the original plus a Shimmer reverb, giving you 11 types in all, and there's even space left for three TonePrints. No matter what type of music you play, you can add top-quality reverb to your guitar or bass sound using the Hall of Fame 2. Well-known guitarists like Stephen Carpenter from the Deftones, Paul Gilbert from Mr.Big and Racer X and Devin Townsend are already fans of the latest creation from the legendary Danish stomp box company.

Hall of Fame 2 Reverb: out of this world

The Hall of Fame 2 features TC Electronic's groundbreaking Mash function that allows you to add extra expression to the effects by utilising the foot switch's touch-sensitivity. The new Shimmer reverb works by adding reverb an octave higher with every feedback loop for a sound that is simply out of this world! If you're familiar with effects pedals by TC Electronic, you're probably already aware of TonePrints, which is a concept that lets you add a number of effects of your choosing to pedals. You can do this by connecting the Hall of Fame 2 to a computer using a USB cable or even 'beam' new sounds directly to the pickup on your instrument!

First TC Electronic pedal and very pleased in quality and function. Came almost loose in box and could do with more instructions especialy around Tone Prints but hey info is out there right.
I think there are some obviouse alternatives to this pedal and admit that Tone Print might have sealed the deal though no rush to exlore this as yet as tones supplied are very nice. Spring is an inprovment on my Mosky pedal (though I love that pedal) but this has more flexibility as well as more expansive tones such as Hall and Church. Plenty to keep me occupied here. Some apprehension buying from Bax but no issues and super quick postage so would consider again. Note currently unable to buy this pedal from UK retailers who all have it 'on order'.

Very flexible pedal with many options to create your own sound (I particularly like the Spring voicing, Shim is impressive but doesn't suit my playing style) - the Tone print part is very impressive and top marks to TC to investing in such a novel way to setup up your pedal. The Mash pedal is a bit difficult to vary but getting better as I practise. I looked at loads of reverb pedals and for a home set up this pedal is great and hard to justify spending any more money considering the wide variety of sounds and build quality of the product. Rapidly becoming a TC fan and have a few other pedals as well, all as good (Ditto and Flashback 2)

Love this pedal. I use the HOF2 mainly with my acoustic and they go great together. I really love the Mash effect, it gives you lots of variety in playing and endless sounds. Personally, I think it's a relatively small pedal too, which is great as it doesn't take up too much real estate. If you're looking for a great reverb pedal to go with an acoustic, this is the one.

Really impressed with the pedal. Many reverb types that all sound good, can send over extra sounds via an app on your phone, and make your own sounds on a iPad or PC. Some sounds are beautiful, some are weird, all are useable. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive reverb pedal with lots of features and good sounds, look no further!

"Hall, Spring en Plate" klinken ook erg natuurlijk. "Church" en "Mod" zijn erg mooi om even echt lekker te spacen. Met "Shimmer" wordt het al behoorlijk ambient. De drie Toneprint standen zijn eenvoudig aan te passen naar eigen smaak. True- of Buffered Bypass, ook fijn. Na meer dan 40 jaar ervaring met analoge en digitale galm apparaten vind ik de kwaliteit en mogelijkheden in zo'n klein pedaaltje, en voor die prijs, echt dik 5 sterren waard. Echt mooie reverbs....
