General

TC Electronic's ND-1 Nova Delay is a compact effects pedal with 6 different stereo delay types on board and room to store up to 9 of your favourite presets. The effects are studio quality and include delay line, dynamic, reverse, ping-pong, pan and slapback.

In addition to choosing the style of delay, you can set the amount of delay and select the 'color' using the dedicated knob that gives you tape to digital delay and everything in between. With the feedback control you can set the amount of repeats too.

It's even possible to adjust the amount of modulation using the mod level control.

There are two ways to enter time properties into the ND-1. The first way involves choosing one of six different note lengths using the subdiv control. The other is an AudioTapping function that works by holding down the tap tempo footswitch while you play a rhythm. The tempo can also be set by simply tapping the tap tempo footswitch, of course.

Finally, when you're changing or turning off the delay, a handy spillover function can keep the current effect going for a smooth transition between effects.
