General
Meinl has released yet another remarkable, high-quality cymbal with this 20-inch Byzance Traditional Heavy Ride. Many professional drummers have already chosen this ride over other, machine-made cymbals. As Byzance cymbals are hand-hammered, each individual cymbal has its own sound and characteristics. This particular ride is quite heavy, but as such, it has an accurate stick response and a solid bell with a bright ping.
The 20-inch Byzance Traditional Heavy Ride is very harmonic in nature and will fit in with virtually any drum kit, even if the other cymbals are not from the same brand or series. Therefore, this is a very versatile ride that is able to tackle just about any style of music without a hitch. Finally, it's made of B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin and traces of silver), which gives it its durability and its excellent consistent tone.
