With the Meinl CC20DAR 20-inch Dark Ride, Meinl added a new ride cymbal to the well-known Classic Custom series. This series was specifically designed for rock and metal drummers. However, thanks to this cymbal's highly musical timbre you will have no difficulties in incorporating it into different genres as well.

After you strike the CC20DAR, the Dark Ride offers up a wide range of bright trebles with a slight hint of warmth underneath them. The cymbal is made of Meinl's own B10 bronze alloy, which ensures that it is highly durable and gives it its warm musicality. Furthermore, the Dark Ride features medium sustain and a bright timbre, while the excellently balanced stick response ensures a fantastic playing feel.
