General

This 22-inch Meinl Pure Alloy Extra Hammered Ride has excellent stick definition, a universally warm sound and somewhat dry sound characteristics with a shorter sustain than usual. The Pure Alloy B12 bronze alloy helps that along with the traditional finish and computerised hammerings. The calyx / bell is what completes this ride: very solid in terms of volume (not overpowering) and with almost a vintage-like tone. The ride is also crashable, but this can be a bit too powerful in terms of volume in some styles.
