The modern hardware and electronics have been designed to fit right in with this bass guitar's '60s look. In fact, they're exactly the same American Vintage Reverse Open-Gear Bass machine heads that you normally find on more expensive bass models. There are two Standard Vintage Alnico Magnet Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups, each with its own volume control and a tone potentiometer that is shared between them. Whether you play Soul, R&B or '60s Rock, the pickups ensure an authentic bass sound. The fretboard is made of pau ferro, a wood type which is quite similar to rosewood in terms of looks and sound.
