This model has a pau ferro fingerboard with a comfortable 9.5-inch radius and fret lines that make it easier for players who aren't used to playing fretless instruments. Fender Standard Jazz Bass Fretless: versatile

This fretless Jazz Bass features the typical alder body that is responsible for producing its well-balanced, powerful sound. Two Standard Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups deliver the sound to your amplifier and thanks to the volume and tone controls you can conjure up a variety of sounds making this bass suitable for virtually any style of music. The narrow neck, 38.1 mm string nut width and satin-gloss finish make this bass comfortable to play. Open-Gear machine heads and a '70s Fender logo add the finishing touch.

Since the beginning of this year, rosewood has been subject to certain regulations introduced by CITES. Fender have taken this as an opportunity to replace rosewood with pau ferro on their new Mexican models.
