General

The G&L Tribute JB-2 Sonic Blue electric bass guitar has an elegantly simple design that's not far removed from the original '50s version. Thanks to Paul Gagon, it's even equipped with Alnico V pickups that are based on original prints that were found in Leo Fender's private lab at G&L. Former engineers were consulted too to ensure an authentic sound. This bass has a body made of basswood with G&L's own Saddle-lock bridge ensuring excellent tuning stability. The bolt-on maple neck is home to a fretboard that's made of Brazilian cherry. Twenty-two medium jumbo frets, a medium C neck profile and a satin gloss finish mean a smooth playing experience is guaranteed as well.
