Fans of Ibanez BTB models are sure to enjoy the Premium series 1800 range of affordable bass guitars that includes this 5-string BTB1805 bass in Natural Low Gloss. It has a set-thru 9-piece BTB5 neck, a robust Mono-Rail V bridge, chic gold-plated hardware and a zero fret. The acoustic overtones and sustain really shine through thanks to the two Aguilar DCB pickups. Both passive humbuckers have dual ceramic bar magnets that work together with the active preamp and 3-band EQ to create a dynamic sound with plenty of punch. You can switch the equalizer on or off and use the mid boost/cut potentiometer to focus on the three different mid-frequencies by means of a 3-way switch. The result is a versatile, modern Ibanez bass for critical, advanced players, that even comes complete with a hard case.
