With the BTB series, Ibanez presents the same top quality that you can find in smaller, specialised shops. The BTB series offers you a thru-neck construction, materials of the best quality and a 3-band equalizer, among other things. For this price, you won't get a hand-made version with similar features.
Bartolini pickups and equalizer:
This bass guitar has unique 4-coil Bartolini pickups that have a wide, tonal reproduction. Its neck pickup sounds deep while the bridge pickup produces a very bright sound. The scale length of the guitar is 35 inches and its fretboard is rather flat, mainly due to its 400mm radius. With the Bartolini 3-band equalizer you can reduce or increase the mid, treble and bass frequencies.

Wrote the following about Ibanez BTB675NTF BTB 5-string electric bass guitar
De boetiekkwaliteit straalde er vanaf, de bespeelbaarheid, de halsafstelling zo vanuit de nieuw verpakking was subliem, het bespelen ging zo " smooth" , de articulatie, voortreffelijke 3 bands equilizing, de Bartolini s., de brug..kortom zoveel kwaliteit, zoveel profi voor relatief weinig geld.
En ja, de 5 snaar is voor mij nog een optie, want ook die heeft een dijk van een lage B snaar sound.
Qua uiterlijk is het een ware beauty, de middengebied is sterk en echt met druk, lekkere push, een mooie toon, enfin, daar kan een Fender jazzbass niet tegenop. Maar ja, de BTB heeft dan weer niet dat echte oude vintage gevoel , maar dan nog vond ik onder het spelen telkens een genot om op deze BTB 6 serie te spelen.
Mooie sustain, warmte, een vette douw en toch weer niet rauw of zo of metalig maar zeg maar een bas met een sophisticated sound.
Ik zeg: KOPEN !
