The BTB basses from Ibanez' Bass Workshop offer boutique quality for an excellent price. The BTB845SC Natural Low Gloss looks and sounds stunning and is very comfortable to play too. It's extremely well constructed using a combination of familiar and more exotic wood types. The 5-piece 35-inch scooped neck is made of maple with a rosewood fretboard. The body is made of mahogany with a poplar burl top. For increased volume and stability, the top wing is longer than the lower one. This 5-string bass is equipped with a 3-band EQ with a 2-way mid switch and controls for volume and balance so that you can customise the sound to perfection. Finally, the BH1 Bartolini soapbar pickups deliver a bright, full sound to your amplifier.
