These Big Singles are single-coil pickups in soapbar size and produce a full, powerful sound with an aggressive edge. Nevertheless, they still maintain that typical single-coil clarity. The EQBIIISC 3-band tone control and the preamps, that have been designed specifically for the Nordstrand pickups, allow for a pure and wide frequency response. You can choose whether the mid switch controls 250 Hz or 600 Hz.
