This, in combination with the wood types of the body, guarantees you a modern, tight sound with a firm low and a clear mid.

Nordstrand

The Nordstrand pickups also lend a helping hand when it comes to the guitar's sound. These Big Single pickups are soap bar-sized single coils that produce a full and powerful sound with an aggressive edge. Nevertheless, they still maintain that typical single-coil clarity. The EQBIIISC 3-band tone control and the preamps, that have been designed specifically for the Nordstrand pickups, allow for a pure and wide frequency response. You can choose whether the mid switch controls 250 Hz or 600 Hz.
