Jackson JS3VQM Concert Bass Transparent Black 5-String Bass Guitar

General

The Jackson JS3VQM is an affordable five-string electric bass guitar, available in two colours: Amber and this black version. This bass has an extra wide range, thanks to the additional string, and a full, deep and powerful sound. This makes the bass perfect for the real deal: metal and heavy rock. The body has a Concert Bass shape, with a characteristic double cutaway which gives the guitar its appealing looks. Because the black lacquer is transparent you can still see the flamed maple top perfectly, and it also matches with the black-coloured hardware beautifully.

JS3VQM Concert Bass: Powerrrrful

The lightweight body of the JS3VQM Concert Bass is made of basswood and gives the guitar a warm, powerful and tight sound. The top is made of maple, a dense wood type that has a very bright sound. These combined wood types provide a balanced sound that is further enhanced by means of two high-output humbucker pickups. You can adjust the sound of this bass via two volume knobs and an active 3-band EQ.

Compound Radius-Fretboard

The bolt-on neck is made of hard, strong maple, is fitted with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl shark inlay position markers. The fretboard has a compound radius to increase playing comfort. This means that the fretboard is flatter at the higher positions than it is at the lower positions.
