General
Otto Link's OLMS5E Super Tonemaster is a metal mouthpiece for soprano saxophone. A metal mouthpiece tends to sound more projected and even across the entire range of the instrument, so this type of mouthpiece is often used for more modern work. This gold-plated mouthpiece features a small tip opening of 1.37 mm. The smaller the tip opening is, the easier the reed will engage. Therefore, this type of opening is ideal for beginners and is often recommended by teachers to their students. A metal ligature and a protective plastic cap come free with this mouthpiece so you can start playing right away.
