General

The YBS-62S is a professional baritone saxophone from Yamaha. You can expect a beautiful, low sound and pleasant playability from this model. It comes with a high F#, low A and a front-F valve that make certain techniques a lot easier. The 5C mouthpiece has a somewhat large bore and can produce a powerful sound. The baritone saxophone is ideal for enriching the low notes of an ensemble. The accents it adds can bring a lot more colour to the ensemble. If you prefer playing solos and melodies, a smaller saxophone like the tenor or alto might be more for you, but even with the baritone sax you don't have to play inconspicuously.
