Compatibility of SDXC

SDXC stands for SD Extended Capacity. A card like this is based on the SDA 3.0 specification. SDXC storage capacities range from 64 GB to 2 TB. SDXC uses another file format: exFAT, which works differently than the one used on traditional SD cards. This format isn't backwards compatible with devices that only use SD (128 MB - 2 GB). Please note: most devices made after 2010 are SDXC-compatible. How do you know if your device is compatible? Look for the SDXC logo on cards and devices, like camcorders and cameras.
