Epiphone's ES-339 Pro is a semi-acoustic guitar that's perfect if you're looking for a model that's styled like an ES-335 or Dot, but has dimensions similar to a solid-body electric guitar. Its smaller size and SlimTaper D mahogany neck both add to its excellent playing comfort, yet it still retains the bright, warm sound and atmospheric character you get with a semi-acoustic model. The ES-339 Pro features Epiphone’s LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece. This version has a charming Cherry finish.
ES-339 Pro: Alnico Classic Pro
To accurately amplify the sound produced by the maple body, the ES-339 Pro is equipped with two Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers pickups. Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls and both volume potentiometers feature a push/pull coil tap giving you the sound of single-coil pickups too. Along with the 3-way pickup switch, this gives you a huge variety of tones to work with which makes the ES-339 Pro suitable for virtually any style of music.
