Gretsch's G2420T-P90 is a versatile, semi-acoustic guitar from the Streamliner series. It combines classic looks with modern electronics and has a Broad'Tron humbucker at the bridge and a P90 Dog Ear pickup in the neck position. The humbucker gives you the renowned Tron sound that is characterised by its full growl and has even more definition than you get from a standard humbucker. The P90 delivers full-sounding, single-coil tones with prominent mids. Each pickup has its own volume control so that you can enjoy their sounds separately or mix them together if you like. You can then use the master volume control to set the overall level and tweak the sound to perfection using the master tone knob.
G2420T-P90: body and other features
The G2420T-P90 has a body made of maple with a smooth satin-gloss finish. Other features that take this model to the next level include the Adjusto-Matic bridge with Bigsby B60 tailpiece, the pearloid block inlays on the rosewood fretboard and slick-looking nickel hardware. Whether you want to play some rockabilly licks, some rock riffs or some smooth soul grooves, you can do them all and more on this super semi-acoustic guitar.
