The Gretsch G5422TDC offers you all the familiar Gretsch characteristics: an exceptionally stylish look, combined with a typically twangy sound. This transparent red hollow-body semi-acoustic guitar from the popular Electromatic series is equipped Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, which provide you with a full and sparkling sound and a considerable output. The glossy body of the guitar is fitted with chrome-plated hardware, elegant f-shaped sound holes and a double cutaway, providing easy access to the highest frets.
The looks of the G5422TDC
The Gretsch G5422-TDC features a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with distinctive mother-of-pearl position markers. The Transparent Red body, sound holes and neck are fitted with neat bindings, and the guitar features a stylish Bigsby tailpiece with tremolo, reminiscent of those you can find on vintage jazz guitars. An Adjusto-Matic bridge enables you to accurately determine the intonation of the instrument, and the timbre can be controlled by means of a 3-way pickup switch and volume and tone knobs.
