The Gretsch Players Edition G6119T-ET semi-hollow takes the timeless Tennessee Rose model and ups the game with some Japanese craftsmanship and Electrotone style, not only resulting in sublime playability but supreme archtop sound. Here, modern functions and tweaks are seamlessly blended with the unmistakable Gretsch tone of two FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, completing a powerful and flexible six string that's able to effortless swing from sparkling cleans to rich overdrive.
The Gretsch Players Edition G6119T-ET: Effortless Playability, Life-Packed Sound
The unique construction of this Players Series edition guarantees maximum resonance and stable feedback control, where the hollow body is supported by parallel bracing, shaping plenty of depth and responsive, life-packed acoustic sound. The maple neck, meanwhile, has been given a snug Standard-U profile and finished with a rosewood fretboard with a 12 inch radius, making rhythms and leads feel effortless all the way up to the twenty-second fret - even in the dark - thanks to the inlaid set of Luminlay side dots. Topped off with a Bigsby String-Thru vibrato tailpiece, an Adjust-O-Matic bridge and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, this semi-hollow electric guitar boasts solid stability and, so you can get it to the venue in one piece, it comes complete with a Gretsch G6241 Deluxe Hardshell Case.
