This Gretsch Falcon is an impressive guitar with a sound to match. The two Filter’Tron pickups and the fully hollow body produce a typical sound that is often lovingly referred to as “that great Gretsch sound.” With its creamy white finish and gold-coloured hardware, the Gretsch G6136T Falcon Limited Crème de Marine is a striking instrument indeed.

Construction

Trestle bracing - a successful design by Gretsch themselves - lends plenty of strength to the hollow-body build of the guitar. The neck of the G6136T Falcon is made of 3-ply maple and its ebony fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets. The pickups - two High Sensitive Filter'Trons - are placed near the bridge and the neck and provide you with a choice of three different configurations. The master volume, the master tone and the volume of the two pickups can be easily adjusted. The Falcon Limited Crème de Marine is supplied with a rugged G6267 Deluxe Hardshell guitar case.
