The high-precision, hand-crafted Heritage Standard Collection Eagle Classic semi-acoustic boasts the timeless warmth of a full-sized body, granting modern guitarists access to versatile yet vintage jazz-guitar sound. This model has been assembled with love and care using the best tone woods in the former 225 Parsons Street Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, USA. The level of quality is immediately visible, from the deluxe curly maple back, sides and neck to the refinement of the spruce top. Even the adjustable bridge is made from real rosewood, while both the fretboard and pickguard have been carved from a slice of ebony, and the period-correct Finger Ball tailpiece completes the satisfying picture. This charmer of a six-string comes complete with a TKL case.
The Heritage Standard Eagle Classic: Classic & Variable 1955 PAF-style Sound
The specific wood combination results in a rich and powerful acoustic foundation rounded off by a soft bite, and all of it is amplified with classic authenticity by a pair of dual-coil Seth Lover pickups from Seymour Duncan. From there, sublime sound quality is assured by everything from the Pure Tone output jack to the three-way Switchcraft pickup switch, the full set of CTS 500K control pots and the Vishay .022uF capacitors. Expect the warmth and fullness of PAF-style humbucker sound, harking right back to the renowned originals built in 1955. To top everything off with some modern flair and tuning stability, this antique wonder comes fitted with a set of Grover Super Rotomatics machine heads.
