Bringing classic looks and sound bang up-to-date, the Ibanez AS53 Artcore comes coated in a subtle Transparent Black Flat finish and loaded with two Infinity humbuckers that shape versatile, genre-spanning tone. Fitted with a single volume and tone pot and a three-way pickup switch, this electric archtop can do way more than spit blues and jazz riffs - think angular new wave, thick and chugging rock, or jangling, crunching indie and you get the idea. Whatever you spin with this model, you're supported by thoughtful build quality and solid semi-acoustic sound.
The Ibanez AS53 Artcore: Lightweight & Lush Feedback-Free Sound
The body of this Artcore Series guitar has been made using sapele; a thankfully lightweight yet strong tonewood with a particular density that, when used to build instruments, results in a sweet balance across the lower and higher frequencies and lush acoustic sound. This natural foundation is translated into amplified sound with depth and clarity by Ibanez' own Infinity humbuckers, and since the AS53 has also been fitted with an internal centre-block, any of the unwanted feedback that's usually associated with hollowbody models is effectively countered.

Ligt lekker in de hand en bespeelt heel licht.
Heb er een amp2 bij waardoor de klank keuze enorm is.
Totaal conclusie een fijne set waar ik nig jaren plezier van zal hebben.

Speel al 20 jaar keiharde metal, maar voor een gelegenheid behoeft aan een meer 'acoustisch' georienteerde gitaar. Zo kwam ik op de Ibanez. Met zo'n gitaar verlies je het 'electrisch gitaar' gevoel niet, maar heb je toch een meer acoustische sound.
Gitaar werd al in verschillende stemmingen live gebruikt en blijft goed in zijn stemming. Zelfs buiten.
Met behulp van mijn Kemper en een Digitec Drop pedaal klinkt deze gitaar in flat C zelfs nog top.
Uit gewoonte ook even wat 'metal' gespeeld ermee, en deze klinkt ook wel vettig.
En vooral weten dat deze gitaar bijna NIETS kost in vergelijking met de kwaliteit en klank die deze produceerd.
Een aanrader !!!!
